AN ADAPTER MAY HAVE BEEN OMITTED BETWEEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND THE ACCELERATOR LINKAGE. THE ABSENCE OF THIS ADAPTER MAY CAUSE THE ACCELERATOR LINKAGE TO "HANG UP" ON THE CAB FLOOR BOARD, PREVENTING THE ENGINE FROM RETURNING TO IDLE.
