IN SOME CASES THE STARTER SOLENOIDS CONTACT GAP, WHICH ENERGIZES THE STARTER, IS LESS THAN THE MINIMUM ALLOWED. THIS CAUSES THE STARTER TO BE ACTIVATED WITH NO ACTION FROM THE OPERATOR.
