THE FLANGE OF THE EXHAUST PIPE HEAT SHIELD, LOCATED AT THE OUTLET END OF THE EXHAUST PIPE, CAN CONTACT THE VEHICLE OIL PAN. THE FLANGE CAN WEAR THROUGH THE OIL PAN CAUSING AN OIL LEAK.
