THE BRAKE WIRE INSIDE THE TRAILER BRAKE WIRING PLUG WAS CONNECTED TO THE WRONG TERMINAL AND, THEREFORE, NOT PROPERLY CONNECTED TO THE SWITCH IN THE TRUCK CAB WHICH CONTROLS THE TRAILER BRAKES.
